Please, Kill Mr. Kinski!

An immersive theatrical game, made by party people for other party people

Please, Kill Mr. Kinski! Immersive Event - Main Image

Play-test the new emerging format: immersive theatrical game You are invited to a film set starring Klaus Kinski (Duncan Horst). In a beautiful chalet on the top of a mountain, a film crew’s patience wears dangerously thin. At its center stands legendary madman Klaus Kinski, whose private torments have brought production to a standstill. As Klaus rages on the piano deep into the night, guests find themselves entangled in increasingly intricate quests to get the production back on track — or, when the last thread of civility snaps, murder the man who’s keeping them all there. You'll take on the role of a member of the film crew and play a game that evokes the chaotic cabin-fever excitement of a film set, with all its drama and disaster. This first run of Please, Kill Mr. Kinski is a playtest. Please bear with us if we need to make adjustments on the fly! Light refreshments will be served.

This production features Klaus Kinski's interpretation of Nosferatu, which may be disturbing to viewers unfamiliar with: (1) female longing for monstrous men, (2) involuntary celibacy that spans centuries, (3) problematic power dynamics in supernatural romance, or in your own marriage, and (4) the sexual magnetism of deeply unstable men.
