Plants that Grow in Impossible Places
Please Don't Touch the Artist
A NEW EPISODE. There are many reasons to be pessimistic about the future. It seems that one could emphasize one’s epistemic duties over the moral and thereby form pessimistic beliefs about the potential doom headed towards us. It's also reasonable that one could emphasize one’s moral duties over the epistemic. Maybe in order to avoid being frozen by depression, one should (even contrary to the evidence) form optimistic beliefs about the future. With all of that said, the following seem to be the relevant questions to ask: If these really are the only two options, which should one embrace? Or, is there perhaps a third option? Join us for Siobhán's latest collaboration with Paul Kelly, for the Sexy Philosopher Matinee that is also a birthday blowout. Be there.
