We are thrilled… to be spicing up the Salem So Sweet Festival with our mouthwatering collaboration! Our friends Fae Phoenix Photography, Ferreira Foods, Bubble Bar and our delectable hosts Diehl Marcus & Company are folding together our talents to make a Valentine inspired event that is sure to satisfy your desires. For one night only we are offering our hit online game Pass the Sugar, Please? as a live event for your pleasure. But it’s not just a game, we are working with our friends to make this a full nights entertainment. Our inimitable hosts Diehl Marcus & Company welcome you to their sumptuous mansion in the heart of downtown Salem. Fae Phoenix Photography will do a short photo shoot with you and your partner(s) as a keepsake of how magical you all are. After your photo shoot you will be treated to an evening high tea of four courses with a custom crafted cocktail on us, and more drinks available for purchase. Over tea, our hosts thrill you with a game of Pass the Sugar, Please? By Clio Yun-Su Davis and Sharang Biswas that is guaranteed to delight the soul and titillate the senses. Our guests will receive a goody bag of playful delights as we send you off into the night, satisfied and hopefully with some new friends. Tickets are 18+ only and are for you and a guest. Bring a date, bring your polycule, bring your bestie, bring an exciting stranger. Tickets are non refundable, if you are unable to use all of your tickets please contact us for assistance. Dress Code: Spicy Vanilla! If you don’t know what that means then think about wearing whatever makes you feel gorgeous in public. ACCESSIBILITY AND CONTENT Be aware that this venue that is an historic home that is not yet up to ADA standards. There are two sets of stairs involved with attending this event. While we are all working to make events more accessible we want our guests to make decisions with all information possible. This event involves themes and ideas about kink, sex, and BDSM, so our 18+ age limit is strictly enforced. This game is based on enthusiastic consent and safety and focuses on joy. It celebrates how fun, awkward, and intimate healthy communication is. No sexual acts will be performed either by audience members or performers: this show is about innuendo. We welcome both the experienced kinksters and people who are new or curious. We welcome everyone of any identity and orientation and we do not kinkshame. Consent is key to safety. Guests will be asked to present an id and proof of vaccination to attend this event.
Audience Role
Each audience member will select a character at the top of the game who is paired with another audience member. Together they will try to communicate about their relationship while using food as metaphors for their sex life. The game is guided by a professional actor who plays their mutual friend.
Ages: 18 +
This game has explicit sexual content as part of the character cards and is the content theme of the game. However, one of the rules of the game is you cannot say anything explicitly about sex while trying to communicate to your partner about your relationship. Instead, players use desriptions of the food they are eating over brunch as innuendos and metaphors. The first 15 minutes of the game are spent going over consent, comfort and safety procedures to ensure everyone is able to play at a level that is comfortable for them.
