Partita for 8 Voices, from Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw’s album of the same name, brings together the voices of Roomful of Teeth and a visual world inspired by Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawings, where monochrome lines come to life in rhythm with the music. In a dreamlike garden, initially dormant, the musicians of Les Violons du Roy gradually appear as Vivaldi’s “Summer” from The Four Seasons slowly brings the landscape back to life.
