an immersive, interview-based play about trauma & resilience.
In this deeply human piece of theatre, four interviews about trauma and resilience are re-enacted verbatim, breaking the barriers between audience and actors. -- In May 2022, four interviewees shared their stories of trauma, resilience, and healing. Their names have been changed. Everything else has been kept the same. In this immersive experience, sit with Mark, Madonna, Davey and Shirley in their homes as they re-enact these interviews verbatim. -- Supported by the Jack Nathan Award in the Arts
Audience Role
Pre-determined interview questions are written on cards. Actors will hand audience members the card, from which the audience member will read the question aloud. From there, actors will respond to the question, speaking directly to the audience.
