Meet the world's funniest wildlife in their natural habitats. Journey through seven habitats as you discover the funniest moments from the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards. Opening 6pm on 11 September, the limited-run residency celebrates hilarious animal moments from more than a decade of the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards. FRAMELESS is the new home of the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards, bringing together 91 of the funniest photographs from its history in an immersive experience for all ages. Since 2015, the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards have celebrated the wonderfully entertaining moments that happen every day in the natural world. Now, at FRAMELESS, discover the photographs at scale, within the environments where they were originally captured and accompanied by spatial sound to take you even closer. GRASSLAND: Roam the grasslands, where gossip spreads fast and the locals have some serious moves. From laughing lion cubs to dancing monkeys, discover the lighter side of life on the plains. JUNGLE: Venture into the jungle and meet its most expressive characters, from dramatic lemurs to quirky chameleons. OCEAN: Dive beneath the waves and into a world of toothy grins, unexpected photobombs and impeccable comic timing. RIVER: Make a splash in the river, where you'll meet friendly otters, airborne squirrels and wide-mouthed mudskippers having a very heated debate. FOREST: Take a trail into the forest, where the locals are getting up to all kinds of mischief. SNOW & ICE: Enter a frozen world of wide-open wilderness, where foxes dive headfirst into the snow, polar bear cubs huddle close to mum, and swans make a run for it. BEACH: Head to the shore and meet some of the beach's funniest characters caught in perfectly timed moments, from sassy penguins to surprised seals. The Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards began in 2015 in a small office in Tanzania, when wildlife photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE realised that making people laugh could also be a powerful way to engage them with the threats facing wildlife. Together with fellow photographer Tom Sullam, he created a competition that uses humour to build empathy with animals and encourages people to value and protect the natural world. Behind the laughter is an important conservation mission: to widen understanding of the natural world and inspire more people to play a part in protecting its biodiversity.
