ABOUT THE SHOW Music Talks, the show where we talk about music and the music talks back. Built on the spot with audience input, Music Talks explores the songs that make us smile, laugh, cry and remember. Each performance becomes a new show, because we’re interested in the music that matters to you. Music Talks combines theater, dance and interactive sound installations to examine the ways music influences our day-to-day and how we carry certain songs with us throughout our lives. ABOUT KORYN WICKS Koryn Wicks is an immersive creator and choreographer. Her work integrates dance, theater and interactive media. In 2019, she won the Grand Prize at the LA Immersive Invitational. Her immersive work has also been featured in Slamdance, the Denver Film Festival, and FIVARS (Festival of International Virtual & Augmented Reality Stories). Koryn’s work has been presented throughout the U.S., Canada and internationally. She also choreographs for film, television and music videos, recently including an ABC pilot and a music video for the billboard topping artist SHAED. Koryn has taught dance and immersive performance at CalArts and other institutions throughout Southern California. Koryn recently began working in themed entertainment starting with a contract at The Bezark Company.

About Ampersand Arts
The Ampersand International Arts Festival (AIAF) strives to foster a better understanding of art’s place within the world by showcasing a diverse array of artists and their work. The week-long event features special guests, films, author talks, and live music, theater, and dance performances. AIAF seeks to encourage and inspire the next generation of artists and industry professionals. The festival’s Industry Summit features professional workshops, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with special guests and W&M alumni. These events offer attendees an opportunity to engage directly with artists and professionals working in the arts to learn more about their craft and career paths. All of these sessions are free and open to the public. Ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the arts is a central part of AIAF’s mission. Many programs are offered with free admission. Additionally, all current William & Mary students may attend festival programs for free. The City of Williamsburg sponsors AIAF as part of their initiatives to foster a more vibrant community, diversify local tourism, and support town-gown initiatives.
