Drag, Drinks… and a Detective?
Interact with the suspects, solve puzzles, collect clues and help our detective solve the murder! It's a drag whodunit where the suspect's killer musical performances reveal clues that help you catch the killer. Guests are part of the show (optional), costumes are encouraged and there are prizes! Chapter 1: Dinner Date with Death set at a local restaurant Chapter 2: Wake the Dead set at a celebration of life for a dead millionaire Chapter 3: Rhinestones are Forever set at a wedding and reception We have three chapters of Murder is a Drag and plans for a 4th show later this year. Each chapter takes place in a different setting with a different murder victim and 3 different suspects. These original murder mystery shows are Vancouver Mysteries productions based on scripts written by Tanya Bennett, the owner of Vancouver Mysteries, and are not available anywhere else at this time. You don’t need to see the shows in any particular order – each chapter in the series is a separate murder mystery with a new story and new suspects.
Audience Role
Costumes encourages - you are restaurant customers, funeral attendees or wedding guests depending on the show. Interactive or Just Want to Watch? You get to choose when you arrive. Some guests are offered roles in the show (optional - may include costumes, props, lines and/or actions). In the spirit of Vancouver Mysteries games, there are puzzles to solve & clues to collect. Each guest also gets an opportunity to vote for who you think is the murderer!
