#merrytxtmas (to all, and to all a good ‘net)
Santa Claus is coming to Zoom.
You better watch out You better not cry Better not pout I’m telling you why Santa Claus is coming to Zoom “#merrytxtmas (to all, and to all a good ‘net)” is the online holiday variant of one of Brian Feldman’s signature projects. For this special Christmas in July performance, a mysterious character named txt (pronounced “text”), dressed as Santa Claus, recites a script written anonymously in real-time by a live audience (on the ‘net). During this completely immersive multiscreen performance, Santa asks that you please leave your audio and video on the entire time to know when you’ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake. Created and performed by Brian Feldman, this live, interactive performance takes place on Zoom. 50% of proceeds will go to Black Lives Matter DC. Run Time: 45 minutes
Audience Role
Audience writes the show anonymously in real-time. “Yes, you heard right! YOU make the “script!” Brian doesn’t utter a word unless it comes to him via his phone, from the audience. As I’m sure you can guess, a concept like this can lead to a very entertaining show!” – Erica Finlay, AMPlified Culture
