Explore an expansive and immersive aquatic-themed art installation set in the mermaid city of Merlantis. Merlantis, or The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is an expansive, immersive aquatic art installation that transports viewers to a submerged mermaid metropolis built from recyled human materials! Visitors explore a series of delightfully freaky underwater detailed environments—from a glittering coral throne room to the shadowy back-alley Chum Wall, and the UV-reactive abyssal zone. On select days, ambient performers and live ticketed performances invite visitors deeper into Merlantis society, where the merpeople curiously revere human objects like cell phones, soda cans, and other debris.
