Memory Palace

Memory Palace: Memory Palace is an interactive exhibit that each participant contributes to. Using wearable technology, we will project an avatar shape into the space that moves with you. As you interact with the exhibit and other people, your journey is painted on the walls with light. You acquire a unique data-driven avatar structure that retains all of your memories through the experience, each different from the rest. The project will show how people make memories, and how they interact with each other through their time in the project (life). They interact with each other and places that build who they are, what they carry with them, and how memories are created and reinforced. When a person leaves (dies), their color will slowly disappear, showing how memory belongs only to the living. Our memories provide a huge canvas of experience, and through these people, events, and places (the glowing sculptures), they add to who they are. (masks are not required, but please mask if you are feeling under the weather)
