After the success of our first edition in Lille, followed by our tour across the world's most beautiful cathedrals with nearly two million amazed spectators, LUMINISCENCE presents its new spectacular work — The Celestial Odyssey - La Treille. Projections in 3 dimensions, live music, immersive narration… art, technology and heritage come together to take you on a journey at the speed of light and sound. You thought you'd seen it all? Get ready to experience the unexpected. A New Story Discover how nature inspires art, how art brings matter to life, and how human generations shape masterpieces that transcend centuries. New 360° Video Mapping Thanks to next-generation technologies, 3D projections transform the architecture and completely reinvent the space, from the base of the pillars all the way up to the tops of the vaults. Live Performance The new LUMINISCENCE soundtrack is enhanced each evening by the powerful voices of the Septentrion Chamber Choir, under the vaults of Notre-Dame de la Treille. Part One - An immersive walk accompanied by the notes of an exceptional soloist Before taking their seats in the nave, visitors are invited to wander freely and explore the Cathedral. Along the way, the side chapels come alive with immersive lighting, elevated by the notes of an exceptional soloist. Part two - The new 360° immersive show: The Celestial Odyssey - La Treille Step inside the vaults of Notre-Dame de la Treille and travel through nine centuries of an extraordinary story. From the medieval marshes of Vieux-Lille, interrupted by wars, to the audacious inauguration of 1999, the monument becomes a living stage carried by immersive narration, light and live music. In this entirely brand-new creation, stone comes to life through next-generation projection technologies, with unprecedented precision and depth. Before your eyes, the centuries come alive again in an odyssey where ambition, resilience and light are one. Accompanied by a live choir Every evening, the powerful voices of the Septentrion Chamber Choir, conducted by Christophe Gaultier, Mélodie Delannoy or Pascale Diéval, elevate the original soundtrack of the Celestial Odyssey beneath the vaulted ceilings of Notre-Dame de la Treille. A rare experience where music, light and architecture become one, creating a deeply immersive atmosphere. Live Choir & Orchestra On select weekends, the LUMINISCENCE Orchestra, conducted by Pierre-Alexis TOUZEAU, elevates the voices of the Septentrion Chamber Choir in a 100% live performance. The orchestra and choir will be accompanied by the majestic power of the Cathedral organ, played by Denis Comtet or Ghislain Leroy.
