The only play with a mosh pit returns to celebrate their debut EP Pupal Phase. After selling out shows across Brooklyn and Queens for the last two years, the project is releasing four riot grrrl inspired songs focused on the friendship at the core of the play and putting on a show to ce;ebrate! With new songs and an updated script, this iteration of Lost Grrrl Found will be the most jaw dropping yet. Set in the Pacific Northwest in the early 90s, Lost Grrrl Found follows the fallout (and eventual rekindling) of the friendship between college freshmen Izzy and Morgan. Reeling from the fallout, Izzy is swept into the drama of her local riot grrrl scene. She finds herself pulled to the scene’s center of gravity: the lesbian punk trio Zipper Lips, who Izzy can’t tell if she wants to date or be. When Izzy and Morgan both end up touring with these grrrls, long hidden emotions are unearthed.

About Lost Grrrl Found

Lost Grrrl Found is a feminist coming-of-age story with original songs that takes place during the riot grrrl political and musical movement of the 1990s. It combines the elements of a musical with a DIY punk show and juggles ideas of finding your queerness, art as activism, and the generative power of crushes.
