Lonely Hops

Birch House Immersive's annual Valentine's Day tradition is back for a 9th year!

Lonely Hops Immersive Event - Main Image

Your favorite sovereigns of sweethearts, Mackenzie Rigby, the Gin Savant Beatrix Von Hopper, and the Gentlewoman Giles Henry are back to co-host the 9th year of Chicago’s longest running immersive story. Mr. Rigby’s annual celebration has found a new home at Pfeltenhopps Brewery, teaming up with Stanley and Olive T. Puppet to co-host this year’s Lonely Hearts…or is it Lonely Hops? Our Rigby’s regulars are in for a brewed awakening when this felt-forward event unexpectedly turns lager than life. What happens when one pour decision changes the course of the entire batch? Pull up a stool and join us for a delightful evening, bringing friends and strangers together for intimate explorations of love, relationships, and what’s on tap.

About Birch House Immersive

We seek to accomplish one thing: remove the barriers that typically exist between performers and audience. We extend a hand across the proscenium, inviting you, the audience, to join us on equal footing in exploring (and sometimes creating) the story. We invite you to engage with the world of the play in tangible ways- exploring the space, interacting with characters (in groups and one-on-one), and completing tasks that drive the story forward and put you at the center of the experience.
