Liminal: Sublimation

The Liminal is the threshold between Here and There. A place between Life and Death. Waking and Dreaming. Concrete Reality and the Abstract Mind. Structures take on simplistic, dreamlike architectures in the soft quartz sand. Cusped by vast seas of rippling quicksilver, the horizon disappears into a perfect azure sky, illuminated by the celestial blueprints of sacred geometries. Left in the latchkey care of a single, reluctant, devoted custodian known only as the Wanderer, this fragment of a fragment of a fragment of reality is often stumbled upon by drifting Visitors — sparks of living beings with powerful wills and memories — who the Wanderer will eagerly entertain and guide along in their travels. Occasionally, the Wanderer may even require their help.
