Life of a Neuron

Step into the human brain and discover what makes us unique at the cellular level.

Life of a Neuron Immersive Event - Main Image

This boundary-pushing, immersive exhibition by ARTECHOUSE Studio, in collaboration with Society for Neuroscience (SfN), examines the far-reaching potential at the intersection of art and science. The exhibition invites visitors to witness the beauty of one of science’s greatest mysteries — the human brain — as they immerse and follow the life of a neuron from pre-birth to death. Visitors will walk into an unprecedented, real-life 3D model of a human prefrontal cortex neuron — the “thinking cell” of the brain. In addition to the Immersion Gallery installation, you can explore other technology-driven interactive artworks that cover vision, stress, addiction, and neural connectivity all at the cellular level. Life of a Neuron presents an opportunity to experience human neural data visualizations in a visceral way through the latest creative technologies that innovatively tell the story of human experience!
