Starting from the concepts of flight, freedom, and lightness, Balloon Museum’s second exhibition explores air not only as a physical element but as a symbol of movement and limitless travel—both within ourselves and beyond. Over two years touring Europe, the first show, Pop Air, welcomed millions of visitors who enjoyed romantic dates, joyful moments with friends and family, and the excitement of discovering new installations by their favorite artists. Through this, Balloon Museum curated a collection of iconic and celebrated works alongside pieces created specifically for the exhibition, establishing itself as an internationally recognized art event. Building on this success, in 2023 Balloon Museum launched its second exhibition, Let’s Fly, in the United States. Bringing the Pop Air experience overseas, with an inaugural exhibition in New York City, presented significant logistical and cultural challenges. These were successfully overcome with the opening of Let’s Fly at Pier 36 in Manhattan in October 2023. Since then, Balloon Museum has presented numerous exhibitions throughout the U.S., sharing the enchantment of Inflatable Art and its inclusive spirit, while steadily expanding its presence and forging a deeper connection with American audiences.
