Kaleidoscope Kavern Lazy River features an immersive tunnel where the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains surrounds your senses as you float down the river surrounded by kaleidoscope lighting and captivating sounds. Wilderness at the Smokies challenged Moment Factory to create an original, trend-setting experience that will surprise returning resort guests and attract new ones for their indoor waterpark. Part of the 40,000 square-foot expansion of the Wild WaterDome indoor waterpark, Kaleidoscope Kavern is a lazy river featuring an immersive multimedia tunnel with video projection, dynamic lighting, and a spatialized soundtrack, created by Moment Factory. As guests float through Kaleidoscope Kavern’s immersive multimedia tunnel, they encounter visions and soundscapes inspired by the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, including fireflies, starlit skies, and Tennessee’s four seasons. Moment Factory’s creative approach was guided by the studio’s extensive work in themed attractions and experience adapting design practices for different industries. “We’re grateful to have collaborated with Wilderness At The Smokies on this audacious project.
