James Turrell: Come to Good
Keith House is a modern-day meeting house and site of James Turrell’s Come to Good, 2024.
Keith House is home to James Turrell’s 98th Skyspace installation, Come to Good, designed to be experienced at sunrise and sunset. Inspired by the artist’s favorite Quaker meeting house in Cornwall, England, the space invites quiet contemplation as light transforms our perception of the sky through a retractable opening in the ceiling. Come to Good comes to life at dawn and dusk when a 6’ x 6’ section of the Keith House roof opens and the light sequence begins inside the space. The lights gently bathe the ceiling and walls, producing mesmerizing optical and spatial illusions.
