A hidden light tunnel connecting Mona's original galleries to the Pharos wing
Beside Myself is a James Turrell light tunnel that connects Mona's original museum galleries to the Pharos wing, hidden behind a glass panel at the back of one of the lower-level exhibit halls. Walking through the illuminated passage is included with general museum admission — no separate ticket or booking is required. Beside Myself is one of four Turrell works in the Pharos wing, alongside Event Horizon and Unseen Seen + Weight of Darkness.
