Interactive Acting

Overview Join us for a 5-part workshop series on interactive acting! Interactive theater is an emerging and growing art form that is taking audiences by storm, but traditional acting schools do not teach the requisite skills or theory that helps performers to be successful in this new art. Acting is not the same thing as interacting, and learning to develop your skills as an interactive performer can enhance and deepen your traditional acting practice. In this acting series, Caro Murphy-- Creative Director of Incantrix Productions, Co-Executive Director of Playable Theatre, and Immersive Experience Director with Disney Live Entertainment-- will guide participants through the theory and practice that helps performers thrive in these types of environments. Please understand that this is a 5-week long series and you will get the most benefit if you can attend all sessions. You have three options for attendance: Attend in-person in the Boston-area with a facilitator Attend in-person in the Orlando-area with the teacher & facilitator Attend online via Zoom and do exercises with online participants in breakout rooms
