Want to bust through the divide between performer and audience? Have a thing against rows of seats facing a stage? Got an idea for a show that takes place in an elevator, a laundromat, a bathroom? Join playwright and convention shatter-er Danny Rocco (CONVENTION) for an immersion in immersive performance. Develop your ideas in script form and in action. Learn how to create a site-specific performance, build a script for something semi-scripted, plan for a variety of audience behavior, sync up multiple stories, incite a happening. Structured as a development incubator for a larger piece, in six sessions, each creator will hone pitches, devise prompts, and create immersive performance slices, some solo, some group.
