For the first time ever, Birch House Immersive pulls back the curtain on how we make magic.
For the first time ever, Birch House Immersive pulls back the curtain on how we make magic. Through our workshops you'll leave with an understanding of Immersive fundamentals, insights into the Birch House approach, and practical tools for your own immersive project. Our curriculum is focused on the foundations of immersive practice, with sessions dedicated to acting, writing, directing and designing for immersive projects. This class is recommended for early career immersive makers or those looking to learn more about the immersive practice. The course will take place over two weeks with a kickoff meeting, five virtual classes, and a final round table discussion. Kick Off Monday 8/15 at 8pm CST Class 1 Wednesday 8/17 7-9pm CST Class 2 Saturday 8/20 10am-12pm CST Class 3 Monday 8/22 7-9pm CST Class 4 Wednesday 8/24 7-9pm CST Class 5 Saturday 8/27 10am-12pm CST Final Round Table Monday 8/29 at 8pm CST The sessions will also be recorded and available to participants for 90 days following the final session, in case you miss a meeting or want to revisit the content. Additional information, including Zoom links, will be shared closer to kickoff.

About Birch House Immersive
We seek to accomplish one thing: remove the barriers that typically exist between performers and audience. We extend a hand across the proscenium, inviting you, the audience, to join us on equal footing in exploring (and sometimes creating) the story. We invite you to engage with the world of the play in tangible ways- exploring the space, interacting with characters (in groups and one-on-one), and completing tasks that drive the story forward and put you at the center of the experience.
