Get ready to journey back to the quintessential 1980s Midwestern town of Hawkins, where the lines between nostalgia and nightmare blur. This October, Hawkins LARP invites you to an unparalleled four-day immersive adventure that blends small-town charm, sci-fi horror, and coming-of-age drama. Inspired by the likes of Stranger Things, IT, and Stephen King’s iconic worlds, this live-action roleplay experience is your ticket to dive headfirst into an era of neon, leg warmers, and eerie mysteries. HAWKINS WELCOMES YOU! At Hawkins, you don’t just play a character; you become the character. Imagine stepping into the shoes of a rebellious teen, a frazzled parent, or a dreamy high school teacher with big ambitions. Every player is intricately woven into a network of complex relationships, personal secrets, and a communal mystery that needs solving. Will you rise to the challenge of a town under siege by strange forces, or will you succumb to its shadows? With monsters lurking, friendships forming, and secrets unraveling, Hawkins offers: - Three nights and two full days of adrenaline-pumping gameplay. - Personalized plots that interweave your character with others. - A Saturday night 80s dance party, featuring New Wave and TOTALLY RADICAL music taste and throwback vibes. - Escape Room-style puzzles and mysteries, elaborate set pieces, and special effects. - Outdoor fun, from tennis to hiking, to balance the thrills. - Professional photography by Matt Norris Photography, ensuring you capture every cinematic moment. The Setting Nestled in the picturesque woods of Wisconsin Dells, the cozy cabins of Birchcliff Resort will serve as your gateway to Hawkins. Rustic yet charming, Sleeping arrangements are tailored to your preferences through pre-event surveys, making the experience both comfortable and accessible. Hawkins LARP is more than a weekend getaway; it’s an opportunity to lose yourself in a world where community bonds matter, mysteries thrive, and personal triumphs shape the narrative. Whether you're dancing in a school gym, uncovering the town's darkest secrets, or reliving your favorite 80s movie moments, Hawkins promises a weekend of unforgettable storytelling.... Show More

Grimmoire Productions aims to share the magic of storytelling through immersive live-action roleplay experiences. Roleplay can teach us empathy, creativity, and problem-solving while also fostering a sense of community, belonging, and emotional catharsis. Player negotiation, consent, and clear expectation setting will always be a part of our larps. We prioritize player well-being at Grimmoire Productions, but we know that emotional safety does not always mean comfort. Larp, and all art forms, can sometimes be challenging. However players will be armed, to the best of our abilities, with the skills to advocate for themselves and make risk-informed decisions.
