Get into the summer spirit with this psychedelic celebration! The Immersive Art Collective has teamed up with Bodies and Beats to present “Glow Bug,” a black light body painting dance party. This event will feature some of the top body painters in the world, and is completely open to any artist who wants to try their hand at decorating the human form with neon paint. Come get your body painted and groove to tunes provided by DJ Liquorbox and her openers. To get the most out of this event, wear neon or white clothing – or nothing at all (although bottoms are required for hygienic purposes). Tops are optional! Become a work of art and dance the night away! There will also be beer, wine, and other drinks available for purchase. ** ALL BAR SALES ARE DONATED TO THE IMMERSIVE ART COLLECTIVE TO GO TOWARD OUR MISSION TO HELP LOCAL ARTISTS, LGBTQ+ AND UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH THROUGH PROGRAMS, IMMERSIVE THEATER AND ART WORKSHOPS. YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS HELP WITH THIS MISSION, SO PLEASE "PARTY WITH PURPOSE" **

No one is required to removing their clothing and having their body painted. Participation is completely optional!

IAC produces experimental performance productions out of our home venue, "The Count's Den", in Downtown Los Angeles. We aim to foster imagination, learning and artistic nourishment to creative minds of all backgrounds. Through collaboration with devoted artists, we produce our own unique performances, events, and workshops with an emphasis on outreach and accessibility to underserved communities.
