GHOST RIDE or the play that blows away is an immersive performance that puts the audience on bicycles, following a food delivery worker into the afterlife. The piece is a love song to the bicycle that addresses issues of bicycle safety and transportation justice, as well as being a meditation on life and loss. The play will be staged on a 3 mile ride along a protected bike lane on MLK Drive in Philadelphia. Audiences will pedal alongside the protagonist as the narrative unfolds on bike and at stops along the path. Bring your own bike or rent an INDEGO bike! Discount codes available for INDEGO riders!
