Gateways Cinescape is a new immersive entertainment venue in Philadelphia where guests step inside original cinematic worlds and play live-action games with and against other teams. Groups play through a selection of 4 short, replayable interactive experiences built around teamwork, competition, physical sets, practical effects, custom technology, and live game mechanics. Each experience takes place in a completely different world: a haunted 1930s writer’s study, an arcade-style 1980s pirate adventure, a chaotic 1950s diner, or a fantasy party game each giving guests a different style of play. Most games run around 15 minutes, making Gateways designed for guests to play several experiences in a single visit, compare scores, switch roles, and come back to try different strategies. At its core, Gateways Cinescape blends themed entertainment, immersive theater, video games, and competitive socializing into a format built around one simple idea: Bring people together through the power of immersive games
