You are invited to unlock the Garden of Eden. Sacred home to the First Children of Earth. The Land of Milk and Honey. In the labyrinth garden you will ponder your own hero’s journey. Allowing you to walk through your shadow and conquer it. Shed your spiritual skin here to move forward and evolve. Arouse your senses and reconnect with your inner self. Around each corner lies enlightenment. Each dead end is a new beginning. This labyrinth garden, inspired by New Orleans and backwoods wanderings will be encouraging contemplation of the unconscious realm through use of traditional Tarot symbols, meditation, and movement. Private COVID-safe one-hour time slots for one or two people are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 6p, 7p, 8p, and 9p. These appointments include a tarot reading by an offsite reader from Catland via digital portal. We are also happy to provide more affordable one-hour appointments on a Sliding Scale for one or two people on Saturday afternoons at 2p, 3p, 4p, and 5p. This is an ideal time to check out our family-friendly eye-spy programming! You are also invited to unlock the Garden of Eden's Earthly Delights, a two-hour experience. At this special private event you may imbibe and relish fine bites on our back patio. If you choose to enter the Land of Milk and Honey, the cell's culinary-artist-in-residence Chef Steven Shikhel will prepare a series of rich treats for you and your guests based on the theme of Honey, that golden nectar which drips, stains and buzzes with earthy sweetness. An outdoor table is set with whole wheat flour pani poori shells and bowls of granola, fruits, spiced candied nuts and floral honey yogurt. You are invited to crack open the poori shells, fill them with your favorite treats and pour yogurt water on top before consuming it all in one mindful bite. Hot chai tea is on offer to wash it down. Wine and batched cocktails from Covert Cocktail Club are available for purchase a la carte. **ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES** **PLEASE READ** Garden of Eden is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must climb two flights of stairs for entry. Guests will be asked to sign the cell’s COVID-19 Waiver upon entry. Guests are asked not enter earlier than their appointment time. Guests are required to wear masks at all times. Guests will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry. A physically distant staff member will present at all times. Any contact items such as seating, doorknobs, or faucets will be sanitized between appointments.
