Galaxias is not a traditional circus. It is half play, half circus — a fully story-driven theatrical production in which every act serves a single unfolding narrative. When a young clown refuses to accept that time is closing in on someone he loves, he builds a rocket from a circus wagon and launches them both into the stars. Their journey carries them through glittering galactic courts, celestial masquerades, and cosmic dance halls in a tragicomic spectacle about love, loss, and the things that keep spiraling back around. The show features aerial performance, puppetry, shadow cinema, and dance — woven together into a single narrative arc. There is no emcee. No act-to-act vaudeville format. Just story-driven spectacle performed inches from the audience in Bas Bleu's intimate 99-seat theater. An Intimate, Immersive Experience At Bas Bleu's 99-seat theater, the circus performs in the lap of the audience. There is no gap between the spectacle and the crowd — the aerial work, puppetry, and theatrical stagecraft unfold inches away. The result is a visceral, immersive experience unlike anything in the traditional circus world. Audiences don't just watch Galaxias — they inhabit it.

About Soul Penny Circus

Soul Penny Circus is a theatrical circus company devoted to storytelling through spectacle. Blending aerial arts, puppetry, clowning, stage illusion, and immersive theater, Soul Penny creates productions that feel part circus, part dream, and part living storybook. Rather than presenting a traditional sequence of acts, each production unfolds as a narrative world where performers, objects, and environments all serve the story. The result is a style of performance that is whimsical, visually rich, and deeply imaginative — inviting audiences to step into strange and beautiful worlds where the impossible feels just within reach.
