Experience the FIVARS FESTIVAL of International Virtual & Augmented Reality Stories in Toronto from October 3rd to 8th and Online from October 10th through November. Over 60 new immersive works, exclusive world premieres, from over a dozen countries. Explore immersive arts and media with 360 videos, augmented reality, and interactive virtual reality experiences. Witness world and North American premieres and exclusive content at the renowned IDFK gallery in the arts district. Limited in-person tickets are available for Augmented Reality, interactive, and roomscale Virtual Reality installations per 2-hour block from 12 pm to 9 pm daily. (All 360 video content will also be available online as of October 10th) Please be sure to show up at the time you reserved. We can not accommodate a missed time block. You may purchase as many tickets as you want; however, you must purchase one at a time to secure your seat for a two-hour block. In-person ticket holders will have access to the online event from October 10th through November 2nd. The event will feature curated 360-degree videos and interactive browser-based spaces. If you cannot attend in person, a separate online-only ticket may also be purchased. Book now for an unforgettable experience in the world of virtual and augmented reality! The in person ticket provides access to the in-person event only at the time and date listed on the ticket title. It also grants access to live immersive performances on a first-come-first-served basis, to the complete online WebXR portal featuring UltraHD 360 video content and social virtual spaces, and to the private Discord server for networking and remote or in-person Creator talks. The online-only ticket includes verified access to the webXR theater that supports Meta Quest 2 and 3 with limited support for other major commercial headsets. This includes the complete 360 video, dome, and project mapped catalog, and VR performances or AR that may otherwise be made available for online distribution. It includes access to the festival Discord server. It does not open until October 10th, after the location based event. VR headset is not required to watch the 360 content.
