An Arcane Dance Party Larp
Deep in the Undercity, The Last Drop is a pounding nightclub where everyone comes to let loose. Dance, flirt, deal Shimmer, and lose yourself in the music. A queer dance party larp set in the world of the TV show Arcane. The Chembarons rule the Undercity, and Shimmer is flowing freely. Step into a variety of character archetypes, ranging from the bar locals to gangsters to pitfighters to snobby interlopers from Piltover. Nobody is squeaky clean in Zaun, and they're all looking to forget their troubles for a little while. Build friends or confront enemies on the dancefloor. Gamble on a pitfight. Trade or sample Shimmer. Take someone home or get taken out. When: Sunday, May 31st from 1-5pm Where: Bookclub Chicago How Much: $30 until May 9th, scholarship tickets available just DM me. LARP System: Fully nordic, very light on character building, very heavy on dancing. 21+ event.
Audience Role
Audiences get a loose character outline that they flesh out through collaboration with other players to build a network of connections. While mostly there to dance, this gives fodder for light roleplay that you can opt in or out of.
Ages: 21 +
This is a nightclub setting, and players may decide to flirt in character depending on their comfort level. There are a few sex worker characters who will be in attendance, potentially asking a player to go hook up, represented by taking a selfie together in a corner and nothing more. Everyone will remained clothed at all times, beyond possibly risque rave-wear.

Grimmoire Productions aims to share the magic of storytelling through immersive live-action roleplay experiences. Roleplay can teach us empathy, creativity, and problem-solving while also fostering a sense of community, belonging, and emotional catharsis. Player negotiation, consent, and clear expectation setting will always be a part of our larps. We prioritize player well-being at Grimmoire Productions, but we know that emotional safety does not always mean comfort. Larp, and all art forms, can sometimes be challenging. However players will be armed, to the best of our abilities, with the skills to advocate for themselves and make risk-informed decisions.
