FEED: Dry
Four courses of food, drink, and performance exploring hedonism and temperance.
Inspired by the popular “Dry January” movement, FEED: Dry will ask: how do we balance our hedonistic side with our need for discipline and temperance? FEED is The Catamounts original series which pairs food, drink, and performance in a four-course seated meal. All courses explore a central theme, and live music by Nika Garcia with guests weaves the night together. FEED: Dry will explore in four courses the concepts of temperance, abstinence, hedonism, and moderation in modern life. Audience members will be given the opportunity to imbibe delicious non-alcoholic pairings in celebration of the “dry” concept, or to integrate artisanal alcoholic spirits in some or all of the courses. The event features original pieces by Colorado playwrights Chelsea Frye and Ellen K. Graham commissioned by The Catamounts for the event, as well as work curated by director Joan Bruemmer-Holden. Tickets are all-inclusive and include four courses of food, drink, performance, and gratuity. Audience members can choose between a vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu, and drink pairings with or without alcohol. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated, please inquire at thecatamounts@gmail.com.
