Eulogy (London 2027)

Eulogy transforms a shipping container into a hotel basement, transporting audiences through a dreamlike, labyrinthine hotel that exists entirely in your mind's eye. You arrive as a guest, but the purpose of your stay is unclear. Guided by your chaperone, you move through its rooms, corridors and hidden spaces. How your dream unfolds is, in part, up to you. Performed in complete darkness, this exhilarating ride uses binaural sound and speech recognition technology to deceive the senses and transport audience members through the bowels of this strange hotel. An immersive 360-degree audio experience from Darkfield, Eulogy premiered as part of the London BFI Film Festival 2021 and has toured venues in the UK and Australia.
