Majestic Repertory Theatre presents E M P A N A D A L O C A By Aaron Mark Directed by Troy Heard Featuring Amanda Guardado Now living deep under Manhattan in an abandoned subway tunnel, a very hungry Dolores recounts her years selling weed with her boyfriend, her return to Washington Heights after thirteen years in prison, her fortuitous reunion with an old stoner friend who lets her give massages for cash in the basement under his empanada shop, and the bloodbath that sent her fleeing underground. Loosely inspired by the legend of Sweeney Todd, Empanada Loca is a delicious Grand Guignol horror that will crawl under your skin. Due to the immersive and intimate staging of Empanada Loca, we are limiting this event to twenty tickets per performance. NOTE: The entrance to this event will be through the REAR of the theatre.
