Ebb & Flow: Chinatown 2023
A FREE family-friendly community arts festival returns for its fifth year!
Our free, family-friendly community arts festival returns for its fifth year at the Los Angeles State Historic Park! The festival explores climate change, nature, humanity, and health through dance, visual arts, music, and technology. Heidi Duckler Dance has commissioned eight interdisciplinary artists to create site-specific performances in response to environmental themes, constructing innovative interventions to be shown throughout the park landscape that build awareness around our interconnection with the earth and promote climate action and stewardship. Featuring works by local artists Andersmith, HIBISCUS TV, Marie Osterman, Mawusi Nenonene, Stephaine Sherwood and Katie Shanks, and Victoria Villamil (Tori Cristi), HDD Artist in Residence Raymond Ejiofor, and Heidi Duckler. Donations made at checkout will support the artists, production team and equipment, and staff. Individual donations help make this festival possible and are greatly appreciated!
