ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: DreadShow is neither an “extreme haunt” nor a haunted house, but it will combine psychological terror, an intricate narrative, and theatrics for an unsettling, slow-burn horror experience. Guests are immersed into the storyline, and experience the action in real time. This is a dark, real-life journey in which guests will not only encounter evil forces prowling just beyond the veil, but also the horrors of the human condition. This 75 - 90 minute experience is for guests 18 years of age and older. You are among a small group of guests who have been invited to a soiree hosted by the Alden family for a night of mingling, mystery, and intrigue. During the course of the night, dark secrets will be shared, unusual elixirs will be served, and the dreadful truth as to why you have been invited to the Alden family’s home will be revealed. Please note that this will be a highly interactive experience where your words and actions play a role in the story. All guests will be required to sign a waiver. This experience is not for everyone. Please read the waiver carefully. CONTENT WARNING: During this production, guests may encounter the following: - Light, casual touch, - Simulated interactions with the occult and the supernatural, - Mention of sexual assault, - Mention of drugs and alcohol, - Mention of pregnancy loss, - Simulated weaponry use - Depictions of suicide and self-harm, - Depictions of graphic violence and death, - Use of stage blood, - Disturbing imagery - Partial nudity (of the performers), - Flashing lights, - Loud noises, - Dim lighting and darkness, - Confined spaces, - Explicit language, - Foods and beverages. Guests must be able to climb up and down stairs, crouch, sit for long periods of time, stand for long periods of time, and be in confined spaces. COVID: All current COVID mandates for the state of MI will be implemented. Official guidance can change day to day in this regard, so we cannot know in advance what precautions may need to be implemented until the day of the performance. If mandated by the state, you will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the show. You will be in close proximity with actors and other guests. Social distancing cannot be guaranteed. Attend at your own risk. Tickets are 100% non-refundable.
