It's the year 2048 and an unseen beast is terrorizing the land. In this near-future re-telling of the legend of the Wawel Dragon, DRAGONSLAYER invites audiences to join Our Majesty Krak's Republic so they may benefit from the protection and knowledge this body provides.  As new members, audiences are initiated into a nomadic way of life where their security hinges on their willingness to respond to an ever-shifting environment. Throughout the 90-minute experience, they are free to explore, interact with, and uncover what may be simmering under the surface. What sacrifices will our new members choose to make? What contributions will they offer? AnA Directors, Audrey Rachelle, former Sleep No More cast, and Alex Oliva bring their experience performing and choreographing immersive productions in NYC to Seattle. Inside the medieval architecture of Good Shepherd Chapel, a cast of 9 dancers, live original electronic and piano composition by Brooklyn-based experimental musician Maciej Lewandowski, costumes by Atelier Abene, and dynamic lighting design by cinematographer Blake Horn will transport audiences into an post-apocalyptic dystopian future. ...
