About BRENDA ARTS

Spencer Garland is an animator, educator, and interdisciplinary artist who builds worlds where Black imagination leads the way. As founder of BRENDA ARTS, a creative studio and learning space, he centers BIPOC youth in every part of the process, treating collaboration not only as a teaching tool but a core design principle. His work spans animation, XR, and storytelling that reclaims curiosity and makes the act of creation just as visible as the final result.
