An immersive show in the Posthumous Universe on zoom
Recovery: Cold Case is an interactive and immersive show that pushes the boundaries of Zoom to create a theatrical production. Audience members will be new recruits to the Recovery Program at Posthumous. Here you will be guided by veteran employees Beatrice and Freya as you help two deceased remember who they were in life. As you interact with their memories and dive into their digital files you will discover secrets about each of the characters. It is up to you to decide how much of their life you will reveal to them. You decisions will directly affect their decision to join the Posthumous Afterlife Program, and your future position at the company.
Audience Role
The audience fully controls the outcome of the show and has a clear assigned job scene to scene. They also have the freedom to ask questions and go deeper into all characters if they would like.
Ages: 13 +
relationships/sex and emotional abuse in relationships is mentioned and may be explored if the audience asks

About Phoenix Tears Productions
At Phoenix Tears Productions we make weird theater. We put headphones on and perform audio dramas (immersive audio landscapes) by having audiences move around outside and follow physical actors through the story. We create murder mysteries populated by ghosts. We devise zoom based immersion for the pandemic ridden world. We perform our shows at Fringe festivals, Dragonfly Studio 129, and online. Our most recent works include Stardust Kingdom (2016), The War (2019), Recovery: a zoom based immersive show (August 29th & 30th 2020), and Infected: a horror audio drama (October 2020)
