CLUB ZERO Immersive Event - Main Image

arebyte presents CLUB ZERO by digital avatar and artist La Turbo Avedon, a new online commission that is part of arebyte on Screen’s 2022 programme around Sci-Fi. CLUB ZERO follows the emergence of three new avatars that are presented as NFP’s, non-fungible people, that offer a critical alternative to the hyper-capitalised cryptoart market. Each NFP will emerge and be introduced through three interactive design processes, where they will directly interact with viewers by posing questions that prompt the audience to decide on their shape, appearance, identity and name. These editor sessions take place during three Twitch livestreams held throughout the exhibition on 14th July, 28th July, 11th Aug at 7pm GMT. These moments of collective participation in influencing the design and appearance of each new NFP allow for a renewed and continued attention to the responsibility of creating in online spaces, as well as, prompting visitors to reflect on identity in online worlds like CLUB ZERO. For the launch of CLUB ZERO, hosted on 7th July at 7pm GMT, La Turbo Avedon invites viewers to join them on Twitch for a guided tour of CLUB ZERO to discover how the exhibition will unfold.
