Captain Blue's Island
A sub-mersive virtual event
Sail to the magical Captain Blue's Island, and see if you have what it takes to join our infamous crew of pirates, mermaids, swordfighters, space-pirates, and sea monsters. We'll begin your pirate training with a few bawdy sea shanty singalongs, invite you to share tall tales and jokes in the Rum Runner's tavern, teach you curious facts about the illustrious pirates who have sailed these waters before ye, and test your pirate skills with an interactive treasure hunt. At Captain Blue's Island you'll become a part of the show — and if deemed worthy — a part of the crew. Join us for this campy cross-genre experience that is a little bit LARP + game + variety show + a lot of laughs. Participants are encouraged to come in costume/character; we'll even share tips on creating your pirate costume and name before the show, but landlubbers are also welcome. 4pm-5pm PT: Kid-friendly show (educational too!) 7pm-9pm PT: Saltier, mature audiences show www.captainbluesisland.com
Audience Role
Participate in sing-a-longs, treasure hunts, pirate trivia, chat with fellow pirates in the "tavern" and show off your costume and best pirate joke.
