Campfire Tales: Shadows in the Flame There’s always something stranger lurking just outside the light of the campfire. In celebration of Halloween season, Eric Vosmeier and David Ruzicka (creators of “I want to live in your mouth.”) are bringing us back to the origins: A gathering around a campfire. Unnervingly gifted storytellers. An autumn chill or two down your spine. Maybe even a sweet treat. For just eight nights, we invite you into the once-private ring of our shoreside campfire to be entertained, surprised, and perhaps even unsettled by our Tellers. Each night of our anthology is a little different, with a new Teller stepping into the firelight to weave something old, something new, or something in-between. These 45-minute outdoor sessions are for an adult audience, for they promise to leave specters in your mind and inspire glances over your shoulder all the way home. October 17th & 24th brings Tommy Honton (Stash House; Arcana) fireside to share a darkly fascinating interwoven tale for those who aren’t quite sure they belong. On the 18th & 19th, we have a double feature of haunting memories and haunting melodies with Daria Miyeko Marinelli (Ravenous; A Departure) and Esty Bharier (The Bezark Company), featuring the talents of Mike Merchant (Amazon; Creep LA) and Erika Quintana (The Tension Experience; Dark Arts). Mason Conrad (The Willows; Cages) twists and chars a tragic real-life horror in his tale October 20th & 25th with the collaboration of Morgan Taylor (The Old Globe; We Got A Dog). And Sapphire Sandalo (Paranormal Caught On Camera; Ghost Town Terror) & Nicole Javier (Animal Farm; All’s Well That Ends Well) illuminate a sinister mixture of family secrets and nightmarish folklore on October 26th & 27th. Not to mention campfire treats served up throughout the run by Josh Randall (Blackout; Two Bit Circus) – yes, you read that right.
