After a sellout run at the 2026 Spaghetti Fest, Caller ID is back in a secret room at the Elysian! Caller ID is an immersive telephone play for one person. You enter a room filled with old technology, books, and a landline telephone. On a desk, you see missed call slips. Do you call them back or wait to see what happens? Runtime: Approximately 40 minutes Capacity: 1 audience member per performance Age: 16+* Directed & Devised by Adam Smith Designed & Devised by Chloe Badner Featuring Alanna Bayarin, Troy Cwynar, Dylan Fisher, and Wendy Jung *Caller ID blends telephone-based story-telling with immersive space exploration. Audience Role
Caller ID blends telephone-based interactions and storytelling with immersive exploration of a physical space. There will be no performers or audience member in the room at the same time.

About Adam Smith
Adam Smith is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and performer who makes work that is never the same twice. Recent pieces include Caller ID; RERUN, a competition show that turns classic TV episodes into an absurd contest between three competitors; and PARTYBOY, an audience-interactive attempt to get better at parties. With Arletta Anderson he devises work as andersmith: sometimes theatre, sometimes dance, usually in between. His work has been charted as "Low Brow / Brilliant" by New York magazine's Approval Matrix. Adam is a former member of the New York Neo-Futurist collective and was the founding artistic director of the San Francisco Neo-Futurists, best known for The Infinite Wrench, an ever-changing attempt to perform thirty original plays in an hour. He has taught writing, devised theatre techniques, and creative process for over ten years in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and beyond.
