ARTE MUSEUM is partnering with “THE CITY,” a citywide project celebrating BTS’ comeback, to present a collaboration featuring visual installations set to select tracks from the group’s fifth studio album, ARIRANG. From May 20 to June 17, fans can visit the museum for the “ARIRANG GARDEN” experience, transforming the museum’s GARDEN zone into the ARIRANG GARDEN. The space includes five media art pieces that bring the featured tracks to life, including: No. 29: Set to the resonant sound of a grand bell, silhouettes of the seven members are displayed within a minimalist digital space. Body to Body: Centered around the symbolic crimson hue of ARIRANG, this piece visualizes the unique rhythms of Korea. The movement of dynamic line particles is synchronized with the melody, reinterpreting Korean beauty with a modern sensibility. SWIM: This installation marks the first time the signature artwork ‘Starry Beach’ is reimagined within GARDEN zone. It features seven orcas - symbolizing the seven members - swimming through a digital ocean, where massive waves shining like starlight fill the space in a breathtaking display. 2.0: Inspired by the spatial production of the music video, the entire gallery has been expanded into a massive music video set. It offers an overwhelming immersive experience, making visitors feel as if they have stepped directly into a scene from the video. Into the Sun: This segment features the landscapes of Las Vegas, New York, and Busan, reflecting the global reach of both the artist and the exhibition.
