Bottom Of The Ocean (BOTO) is a surrealist theatrical experience by Houseworld Immersive, taking place in a historic underground space in Bushwick, NYC. Over the course of two hours, five guests journey alone or in pairs through a sequence of invented rituals, exploring the value, meaning, and pleasure we find in ceremony. The experience combines elements of creator Andrew Hoepfner’s other major works: the layered fever-dream of Houseworld and the guided meditation of Whisperlodge. Houseworld Immersive is a Brooklyn based theater company, known primarily for creating the performances Houseworld and Bottom Of The Ocean. The founder, Andrew Hoepfner, also co-created Whisperlodge.
