Beyond the Stardust

New York City. Tonight. The Stardust Club at The Flea is electric with the spirit of intergalactic royalty who've come here to...well...shake off all that shit going down and stay in the groove. Soaring down from space and crashing through the roof, two Afro-Futurist planets - Monstah and Black! - take human form and descend on The Stardust Club to help us shake our booties and raise our consciousness. The Flea presents Beyond the Stardust, an immersive nightlife show conceived by Flea Artistic Director Niegel Smith and The Illustrious Blacks. Featuring 12 original songs, stunning visuals, and a host of nightlife's most enchanting aerialists, dancers, go-go boys, girls, and they/thems, Beyond the Stardust is an Afro-disco-space-punk-extravaganza of no-fucks-futurist-fabulousness, inviting audiences into intercosmic dance floor liberation. Runtime: 70 min. Doors will open for pre-show dance party 30 minutes before curtain. Seating: While we hope you will join us on the dance floor for this romp through the galaxy, there is seating available for those who need it. Please feel free to indicate any access needs at checkout. Please note: This is an immersive club show for people of all ages. There is scantily-clad body positivity, curse words directed at oppressive forces, and kissing. But there is no overt sex, violence, gore, or nudity. All are welcome to join our dance floor liberation.
