BACK TO POMPEII

Back to Pompeii is an immersive exhibition that invites guests to step inside ancient Pompeii. Visitors can walk through a Pompeian house and city street, exploring spaces such as a bakery, a thermopolium (an ancient Roman commercial snack bar), a school, a tavern and baths. Guided by an original audio narrative, they can interact with everyday objects while discovering Roman water systems, medicine, food, fragrances and graffiti. Highlights include The Earth Remembers, a 200-square-metre immersive room tracing the city’s history and the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and a Walking VR journey through the ancient city, including its shops, amphitheatre and coastline.
