Atlantic Cruises Immersive Event - Main Image

arebyte Gallery presents ATLANTIC CRUISES, an evening of live performances by artists and performers Ebun Sodipo and Chloe Filani. A polyphonic audio-visual conversation that welcomes Ebun Sodipo and Chloe Filani to expand speculative and critical narratives on imagining the otherwise. The event includes a live performance, ATLANTIC CRUISES, which invites the audience into a scripted conversation followed by an artist talk between Sodipo and Filani. Framed by moving image and sound, the two artists will speculate on the connections between imagination, the Atlantic, and Black trans-feminine existence. Through a process of fragmentation, collage, and fabulation, both Sodipo and Filani devise softer, other ways of envisioning and discoursing about the body, desire, archives, and the past.
