Approximately 900 Feet (Approximately)

The (not so true) Hollywood story of The Cock-Eyed Ladies of Leisure

Los Angeles ,   California

Experience hosted by Hollywood Fringe

By 1969 the most transformative female rock group on the Los Angeles music scene had been born in the basement of a seedy Hollywood boxing gym. They were the most popular band on Music Row but within a few short years they were on the verge of financial ruin without one album having been released. On this hour long immersive walking tour, join Rock and Roll’s most controversial roadie on a mesmerizing journey down Santa Monica Blvd., to visit the historic landmarks, immerse yourself in the backstage stories and tour the crumbling constructions that were stepping stones to one of rocks most meteoric climbs and devastating falls. On this tour of Hollywood’s most momentous and meaningful musical markers, you’re approximately 900 feet from history…. Approximately. ⚠️Attention!! Achtung Baby⚠️ This is a guided OUTDOOR walking tour of Theater/Music Row. Please be advised there is NO seating. You will be walking approximately 900 feet (approximately). Although the terrain is relatively flat, there will be uneven sidewalks, street crossings, loud traffic, road noises and unforeseen weather conditions. The show must go on… rain or shine. Restrooms available at The Hudson Theatre Coffee Shop, 6541 Santa Monica Blvd before or after the tour. There will be no stops once the show is “on the road” so prepare accordingly.... Show More

Hollywood Fringe

Hosting immersive events on EI since May, 2024

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts infiltrate the Hollywood neighborhood: fully equipped theaters, parks, clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places host hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers. Participation in the Hollywood Fringe is completely open and uncensored. This free-for-all approach underlines the festival’s mission to be a platform for artists without the barrier of a curating body. By opening the gates to anyone with a vision, the festival is able to exhibit the most diverse and cutting-edge points-of-view the world has to offer. Additionally, by creating an environment where artists must self-produce their work, the Fringe motivates its participants to cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurialism in the arts.... Show More
