Apply to Receive an Odyssey

Our team is made up of artists in dozens of disciplines who study the life of one individual to create intimate, meaningful performances that one weekend and occur not on a stage but interwoven with the life of our audience of one. The experiences are transformative; most of our participants change jobs, move, and make new commitments to loved ones shortly after their Odysseys. In 2026, Odyssey Works celebrates its 25th anniversary. To honor a quarter-century of crafting profound, personalised, site-specific experiences around the world, we are returning to the waters that inspired our very name: the Ionian Sea. The story of Odysseus — navigating trials, transformations, and ultimately homecoming — has been at the heart of our practice since the beginning. Next year, the journey continues on the island of Zakynthos, a neighbour to legendary Ithaca among the Ionian Islands. One carefully selected Participant will receive a highly personalised, immersive experience designed exclusively for them. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and dramatic Ionian landscapes, the Participant will embark on a journey informed by their own history, values, curiosities, and dreams — crafted by a diverse ensemble of artists, designers, and collaborators. If your application is selected, your entire Odyssey in Greece is completely free. Your only financial responsibility is to get yourself to Zakynthos.
